Black and Green Aztec Feather Headpiece

Only the most elite members of Aztec society wore a headdress. They were very serious about the process of making and wearing a headpiece that only priests, emperors and highly decorated warriors got to wear them. The feathers used were a symbol of their feather God who was close to their sun God; they had a God for everything! A headdress was a visual representation of an Aztec citizen’s status – what would your status be?
